44th Annual Miss Tyler County Pageant is Saturday

The 44th annual Miss Tyler County Pageant will be held Saturday, February 7th at the Eagle Summit Auditorium. The afternoon pageant for girls ages 5-12 will be held at 1:30pm, and the evening pageant for contestants ages 13-18 will be held at 6:30pm. A total of 178 young ladies from Tyler County will be vying for crowns in eight age divisions. Rehearsals for contestants ages 5-17 will take place on Friday, February 6th at the Eagle Summit Auditorium beginning at 6:00pm. All interviews will take place in the Woodville High School library at the following times: Tiny Miss, 5 year olds will begin at 12:15pm; Petite Miss, 6 year olds will begin at 11:45am; Little Miss, ages 7 & 8 year olds will begin at 10:55am; Young Miss, ages 9 & 10 year olds will begin at 10:10am; Future Miss, ages 11 & 12 year olds will begin at 9:15am; Teen Miss & Junior Miss, ages 13-17 year olds will begin at 4:15pm; and finally our Miss contestants, high school seniors, will begin at 3:15pm. In the senior group, 10 beautiful and talented young ladies will take part in three events, including a personal interview, talent & evening gown. The talent portion of this year’s pageant will feature singing, dancing, prose reading, a flag routine & a sketch artist. The contestants in this age group are: Shelby Tillery, 18 year old daughter of Ray & Stacy Tillery of Woodville. Shelby is sponsored by Ray Tillery Matco Tools. Macy Graham, 17 year old daughter of David & Sloane Graham of Warren. Macy is sponsored by R&D Hardware & Feed. Dana Edwards, 17 year daughter of Gloria Kirkwood of Woodville. Dana is sponsored by Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Sabrina Freeman, 19 year old daughter of Betty Baumgartner & Patrick Freeman or Warren. Sabrina is sponsored by Yawn Trucking. Brandi Long, 17 year old daughter of Annette & Doug Yeager of Woodville. Brandi is sponsored by Dogwood Florist. Brittani Hubacek, 17 year old granddaughter of Sheila Parker of Colmesneil. Brittani is sponsored by Monk Car Wash. Brittany Roby, 17 year old daughter of LaCona & Scott Roby of Spurger. Brittany is sponsored by Gray Trucking. Kimberly Ellis, 18 year old daughter of Loretta & Rocky Ellis of Colmesneil. Kimberly is sponsored by Vance’s Heating & Air. Meaghan Setters, 17 year old daughter of Amanda Setters of Colmesneil. Meaghan is sponsored by Senor Torro’s. Shanique Moye, 17 year old daughter of Audrey Williams of Woodville. Shanique is sponsored by Wal-Mart Supercenter. Come out and show your support for all the contestants in this year’s pageant. Tickets are $5.00 each and specify either afternoon or evening. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance during our rehearsals for contestants ages 5-17 from 6pm-9pm on Friday, February 8th at the Eagle Summit Auditorium.
