Tyler County Booster - January 2009

Tyler County Hospital Auxiliary met January 12 for their monthly meeting. Gift shop volunteers met before the regular meeting to discuss changes and standardize procedures. President Mary Ann Gallier presided over the general meeting. Gift Shop Director Deanna Barnes reported a very profitable December in sales. Advanced merchandise discounts proved very successful. Luella Barr, R.N., Emergency Room Director spoke to members, telling them about the excellent emergency room and its operation. The hospital has a well prepared nursing staff and adequate physician coverage. The community can be very proud of the state-of-the-art facility. Volunteers have just purchased four very comfortable chairs for use in individual treatment rooms in the Emergency Room to make family members more comfortable. The Auxiliary hopes you will visit their “Wild Flower Gift Shop” to purchase cards, balloons and gifts for your Valentine.
