2010 Was A Busy Year In Tyler County
Tyler County Booster
While Tyler County was fortunate to have dodged a hurricane again in 2010, the year has been an exciting one in the county, a year filled with activity and change for area folks. Two new cities rose from Ivanhoe, and voters in Woodville approved the sale of beer and wine within the city. Of course we celebrated the Dogwood Festival, Miss Tyler County (perhaps for the last time, the ABWA who sponsored the event disbanded this year), the Harvest Festival and Christmas in Tyler County, all with great turnouts and perfect weather. We’ve also lost a few long time citizens, and welcome a lot more. In this issue we’ll take a look back at some of the events that marked 2010 in Tyler County. |
