Lil Eagles Early Head Start Opens In Woodville

Lil Eagles Early Head Start celebrated their grand opening with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Friday, Jan 21. “We appreciate the community support we were shown and sincerely thank everyone who was able attend,” Debra Gagnon, Center Director said. “We look forward to a longstanding and mutual relationship with the citizens of Tyler County.” Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families with infants and toddlers and for pregnant women. Its mission is: •to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, •to enhance the development of very young children, and •to promote healthy family functioning Lil Eagles Early Head Start delivers comprehensive and high-quality services that foster healthy development. In addition, we provide a range of individualized services in the areas of education and early childhood development: medical, dental, and mental health; nutrition; and parent involvement. The center is currently accepting applications for pregnant women and for child enrollment at 601 Kelley St Woodville TX 75979. The federal poverty guidelines are used to evaluate family income.
