Burglaries move into Tyler County

Tyler County Sheriffs Department has had reports of three burglaries in Colmesneil on Tuesday during the daytime hours. They occurred North of Colmesneil on US Hwy. 69, on Hwy. 255 and Rivers Road. Angelina County officials reported 11 last week and the departments are working together this week to find suspects. Residents are encouraged to take precautions until the suspect/suspects are apprehended. “If you see suspicious vehicles in the area, contact the sheriff’s department at 283-2172,” Chief Deputy Clint Sturrock said. The sheriff’s department is also encouraging residents to keep a vehicle parked in your driveway if possible…”just make it look like someone is home.” |
