65th Annual Tyler County Chamber of Commerce Banquet Jan. 19

The 65th annual Tyler County Chamber of Commerce banquet will be held Thursday, January 19 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church Family Center. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and program at 7 p.m. Our speaker will be Lieutenant Commander Leif Babin who will give a presentation on his combat experiences in Iraq. Babin has earned a Purple Heart, Silver Star and two Bronze Stars. Babin was a former Woodville High School student. Dinner is catered by Elijah's Cafe and hors d’oeuvres provided by Keller Williams Realty and Greenwood Insurance group. Awards will be given to this year’s honorees including Tyler County Business of the Year, Emporium for the Arts, Inc. Virginia Haynes will be playing patriotic music on the piano during the reception and seating. Tickets are available at the Chamber office, 717 W. Bluff in Woodville for $20 per person. Seating is limited.
