Laughlin wins ‘Best Attorney’ in Mock Trial

Megan Laughlin class of 2010, from Warren Tx. attended the (NSLC),June 21-30 in Washington D.C.. Megan attended conferences providing career based leadership development for outstanding high school students. Megan attended the LAW& ADVOCACY I: The Trial, at the American University in Washington D.C. . During the conference she attended specialized workshops and classes designed to develop the skills and traits that define a leader.
Trips and tours also enhance the students experience, by tailoring them to their specific conference, Megan also had the opportunity to meet with and learn from recognized leaders, such as Secretary of Education, U.S. Surgeon General, Secretary of Defense,CIA,Director, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Supreme Court Justices, as well as U.S.Senators, U.S. Representatives, Governors, Ambassadors and leaders in the fields of business, diplomacy, law, politics, and jouralism.
Megan spent time with other high- achieving students who share the same drive to succeed. Megan has succesfully completed all courses and requirements of THE NATIONAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE on LAW & ADVOCACY. Out of the 75 students that attended the conference Megan was congratulated for winning BEST ATTORNEY IN THE 2009 LAW & ADVOCACY MOCK TRIAL.
