AARP Driver Safety Classes
Tyler County Booster
AARP Volunteers have been teaching the Driver Safety Program to older drivers for over 28 years. The course is designed to help the older driver deal with the mental and physical changes brought about by aging. Insurance discounts are available to most course graduates. At only $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members, this is one of the best investments an older driver can make. There will be three courses in Tyler County this year: May 6, August 5, and November 4. If you would like to enroll in one of these classes, you can contact Cecil Schriver at (409) 547-3097 for information. The next class is scheduled May 6, at Our Lady of the Pines Church in Woodville. The class meets for 4 hours (from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m.). All course materials will be provided for you by AARP and are included in the fee for the course.
