Tyler County Booster - March 2009
On May 9,2008, Rebecca A. Gregory assumed the duties of United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas. Previously, Gregory served as First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District. As United States Attorney, Gregory directs thousands of federal prosecutions and civil cases in a 43 County area stretching from the Okalahoma border to the Gulf of Mexico. She oversees a budget of more than $8 millions and actively manages a staff of more than 100, including 50 lawyers in six fully staffed offices located in Beaumont, Plano, Tyler, Sherman, Texarkana and Lufkin. Mrs. Gregory has graciously accepted an invitation to address the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Tyler County on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the “Z’s Fillin Station” restaurant in Woodville, Tx. The U.S. Attorney is scheduled to address the organization at 7P.M. The public is invited to attend. Dinner will be served at 6:30PM.
