Sign Up Under Way For 4th Annual Colmesneil Family Fun Day

The City of Colmesneil is working with Colmesneil I.S.D. to promote the 4th Annual Family Fun Day at Lake Tejas. Last year’s event was a huge success and drew an estimated 2000 people to our small community! In an effort to “beat the heat,” this year’s event will be held Saturday, May 15, from 12 noon until 6pm… and…YES! The swimming hole will be open! We are expanding participation opportunities this year. Not only will we have food, fun, games and entertainment, but we will also have booths available for collectibles, crafts, antiques, garage sale items and more. We have lots of great activities for a fun filled day for all ages, including the Family Races. Here are some ways you can participate: Booth spaces are available for organizations and businesses to utilize this event as a fund raiser and/or to advertise. This is a great opportunity to promote your business and/or organization. Early bird reservations may be made March 15 thru April 15. All varieties of family oriented entertainment will be accepted for the day’s lineup. Call to share your talent. No act too small. We also are asking businesses to please consider sponsoring or co-sponsoring an event or service for the day. We have a wide variety of advertising opportunities available. Specific event or service providers will be recognized in addition during the event or at the location of the service. An event budget is available upon request.
