Tyler County Booster

On Saturday February 27, the Woodville Rotary Club and Members of the Community came together to accomplish much-needed repairs at the Girls’ Softball fields. In an effort to improve conditions at the ball park which serves approximately 300 Tyler- County girls, twenty volunteers spent the day constructing covers over four sets of bleachers. This project was made possible by donations from Steve & Melissa Fentress, Ethel Jackson, Jarrott’s Pharmacy, Eleanore & Grady Holderman, Magnolia Appliance, Mann Furniture, Myrtis Martindale, J. Michael Risinger, Jerry & Roschelle Springfield, Tejas Equipment, Wilson Insurance and the Woodville Rotary Club. The Woodville Rotary Club would also like to thank the following people who volunteered their time: Brian Button, Steve Fentress, Jay Kenesson, Mike Marshall, Darion Pate, Trevor Odom, John D. Risinger, Brett Smith, Jimmy Watts and Michael Watts. Breakfast and Lunch were provided by Sarah Odom, Melissa Fentress and Tracy Wilson. Special thanks to Parker Lumber and Mueller Metal Buildings for assistance with materials.
