Woman arrested for resisting after struggle with officer
Tyler County Booster
Woodville police officer Marc DeShazo was dispatched April 20 to an attorney’s office at the 100 block of South Charlton on a warrant for Carol Lynn Rhodes, 45, of Buna. The officer observed a female matching the description of Rhodes. When he approached her, Rhodes walked away, and a struggle began between the two on the street in front of the attorney’s office. Rhodes was arrested for resisting arrest and failure to identify. Later at the jail, Rhodes was found to be in possession of a usable amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correction facility. Bond was set by Judge Judith Haney for $21,500 for the three new charges. The bond for her original charge of intentional bodily injury to a child or elderly is $10,000. |
