Scout Project benefits Woodville Cemetery

Local Boy Scout Nick Whigham was looking for a project toward his Eagle Scout badge and the Tyler County Historical Commission’s Sandra Hargrove had just the project. Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville had been hit hard by recent storms, so Nick organized a team to take care of the cleanup. According to Hargrove though, the guys went way beyond just a cleanup. They repaired things that were broken, righted headstones that had fallen over, cleaned headstones and cleared out overgrown areas in the oldest part of the Cemetery. The cemetery holds a lot of Tyler County History. Thanks for the hard work and community spirit!
