Smoking marijuana on front porch lands Woodville man in jail
Tyler County Booster
A report from a caller that a family member was smoking marijuana on the front porch of their home resulted in a trip to jail and several charges against 19 year old Tresvonne Jermane Bronson of Woodville. Officer Fuller responded to a call May 16 to the 200 block of Cobb Mill Rd. and spoke to the homeowner. He was given permission to search the home and found a blunt (marijuana rolled into a cheap cigar) in the home. The family member claimed that Bronson owned the joint, and wasn’t home at the time. Fuller took note of the situation, and let Officer Deshazo further investigate the issue on his shift. Deshazo later saw a man walking on South Magnolia and identified him as Bronson. The officer wrote him a citation for having drug paraphernalia. Deshazo found that Bronson also had several traffic warrants, and transported him to Tyler County Jail. Officers at the jail discovered that Bronson had hidden even more marijuana in his clothing, and was further charged with possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility. Woodville Police Department reminds Tyler County residents that if a family member or friend is taking part in illegal activities at your home, you can call police and will not be held liable for any drugs that belong to that family member that may be in your home. |
