‘Two Martins in Art’ exhibition begins Friday

Tyler County Art League will present the art of F. Jane Martin and Ruth Martin Friday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 14. Their paintings will be on display in the Art Emporium and the Main Gallery, which are located at 210 West Bluff in Woodville. An opening reception for the artists will be held Sunday, November 4, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Gallery.

Jane Martin works in oils, pastels and watercolor. She teaches oil painting classes at the gallery.

Ruth Martin paints mainly in pastel, but also works in oil, and white and black charcoal.

Both artists do outstanding work and are committed to both the gallery and the the preservation of the area’s history and environment.
