Warren gains new bank, welcomes new bank president November 16
Tyler County Booster - November 2007

Warren is emerging as a growing community and nothing reflects the growth of a city as well as new businesses moving there, and a new bank is a great asset.

Community Bank of Warren, a division of Huntington State Bank, will celebrate its opening with an Open House Friday, November 16, at that location. The event will run from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

"We would like to invite everyone to stop by and visit our new banking facility and meet our staff," bank President Lauren Marshall said. "There will be a drawing for some great prizes and of course refreshments will be served."

Marshall has an extensive banking background and has worked for other financial institutions and mortgage companies before joining the Community Bank of Warren family.

"I am looking forward to meeting the people and serving the community of Warren and neighboring communities," she said. "This is a wonderful opportunity and I am excited about serving the financial needs of our customers." Community Bank of Warren is a full service bank providing deposit products, as well as consumer, commercial and real estate loans and services. Drive-thru and Lobby services are available Monday through Friday and full service banking until noon on Saturday. There will also be an ATM at the location.

"It is the Bank's commitment to the community that impressed me and I am ready to put that philosophy to work," Marshall said. "I've brought together a great team from the community.

Kimen Fondren, a Warren native, brings 14 years of real estate and customer support experience as well as a background in banking to the job. Tommie Sue Jones comes from Woodville. She is retired from HEB Corporate and has extensive knowledge of accounting.

Shelly Hicks is also a Warren native. She has a foundation in banking knowledge and previous teller experience.
