We were blessed to be honored with such a wonderful ceremony, but the true recognition goes to the hard work and dedication of all of our students, “stated principal, Sherry Hughes. According to information from the Texas State Board of Education, “Blue Ribbon Schools are nationally recognized by the United States Department of Education for several distinguishing qualities, including strong leadership, high quality teaching, challenging curriculum, solid evidence of family involvement, and evidence that the school helps all students achieve to high standards.” Sandy Burris, C-CHS counselor, stated, “Not only are our students academically successful, we have a student body that we are proud to say represents our parents and community well.”. |
