New C-CISD Board members sworn in

CORRIGAN -- The Board of Trustees of the Corrigan-Camden Independent School District swore in the two new board members at the regular monthly meeting held last Thursday. Seth Handley and Anthony Harrell were sworn in as new members of the C-CISD School Board. The board elected the 2012- 2013 board offi cers. They are Melanie Taylor -- president, Steve Willson -- vice president and Sean Burks -- secretary. The board approved increasing the school lunches by ten cents for the next school year. The board approved the bids on lots 45 and 46 in Damascus Woods by Larry Maxey in the amount of $1,400 for both lots. The minutes from previous meetings and the payment of the bills were approved by the board. Calvin Jones was approved by the board to serve on the Polk County Appraisal District Board. The next meeting will be held on June 11 at the school board room located at the Corrigan- Camden High School.
