Commissioner's meeting held Tuesday
LIVINGSTON — Commissioners took just four minutes to hold an opening prayer, the pledge of allegiance and approve the list of consent agenda items before adjourning into an executive session to consult with their attorney about pending litigation Tuesday morning. The approved items included: A request from the Pct. 2 Commissioner seeking to accept Bridgeview Drive, Bridgeway, and Bridgelanding for public maintenance including any specifi ed variance. Commissioners will consider approving offers to purchase tax foreclosed properties. In Precinct 1: Lots 253 and 254, Section 2, River Lake Estates; Lot 484, Section 3, Forester's Retreat; Lot 488, Section 3, Forester's Retreat; Lot 502, Section 3, Forester's Retreat; Lots 501 & 511, Section 3, Shiloh Ridge. In Pct. 2 Tract 25, R. Ferguson Survey, Abstract 245. In Pct. 3, Tract 97, M. L. Choate Survey, Abstract 15. Commissioners also will consider a request from the Pct. 3 Constable to appoint Francisco Segura as a reserve deputy constable and approve the related bond. The court also will consider approving an interlocal agreement renewing services with Harris County for post-mortem examinations. Commissioners will consider renewing property insurance coverage with the Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool. The court will also consider ratifying a resolution in support of the District Attorney's Victim Coordinator Grant and Liaison Grant application to the Offi ce of the Attorney General. The court all will consider approving a contract with U.S. Capitol Advisors (represented by Jim Gilley) for fi nancial advisory services, terminating the contract with Coastal Securities.
