C-CHS announces the Class of 2013 honor graduates

 

CORRIGAN -- The Corrigan- Camden High School recently announced the students graduating with honors for the Class of 2013. Listed below are the students names and biographies: Valedictorian Alyssa Ener Alyssa Ener is the daughter of Angela and Lee Connaroe. She has attended cordovan Camden from pre-k to her senior year. She has also attended Angelina college since the summer of her senior year. She has also attended Angelina college since the summer of he sophomore year and will graduate with 34 hours of college credit. Alyssa will be graduating valedictorian and beginning classes at Sam Houston State University in the fall. Salutatorian Kacie Dewberry Kacie Dewberry is the daughter of Tammy Farr. She has been her class president for four years, a Corrigan-Camden High School Student Council member for two years, a member of the yearbook committee for one year, a member of the National Honor Society for two years, Lions Club Sweetheart for one year, and participates in various community service activities. After graduation she plans to attend the University of Texas in Austin to major in Biology. Andrew Harvey Andrew Harvey is the son of Russell and Kathy Harvey. Andrew is graduating with honors. He has been a concurrent college student this last year. He will graduate with 19 college hours. In addition to being a college student, Andrew ha been very active in the Bulldog athletic program. He has played varsity baseball 4 years, varsity football 3 years, and varsity track 2 years. After graduation, Andrew will be attending Richland College in Dallas, Tx. He will be playing baseball for the Thunder Ducks. Caitlin Whittington Caitlin Whittington is the daughter of Sandra Whittington. Caitlin has participated in yearbook as the Editor her senior year, as a class offi cer, Student Council, as a con-current student, she was also Student of the Year, she is also in the NHS and many other organizations. After graduation, Caitlin plans on attending SFA to Double Major in Advertising and Business. Brinesha Cooper Brinesha Cooper is the granddaughter of John and Annie Cooper. She has participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, and cheerleading all four years of high school. She received Honor Roll her freshman year of high school and was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year. Upon graduating, Brinesha plans to attend the University of Texas of San Antonio and pursue a degree is Physical Therapy. Martha Duran Martha Maria Duran is the daughter of Jose Sergio and daughter of Jose Sergio and Martha Duran. Martha has participated in yearbook, class officer, NHS, student council, Certified Nursing Aide and phlebotomy certified, concurrent student and many other organizations. After graduations Martha plans on attending SFA and major in nursing. Kyle Vance Kyle Turner Vance is the son of Randy and Dena Vance. Kyle participated in football and baseball for four years and power lifting for three years. After graduation he plans to work off shore. Lliana Felipe Lliana Felipe is the daughter of Mateo and Estelle Felipe. Lliana has participated in any clubs and organizations. She has been in the book club, Spanish club, NHS, pirit runner, yearbook and student council. Lliana is also a concurrent student at AC where she will be graduating with 27 credit hours. After graduating lliana plans on attending Angelina College in the fall then transferring to Stephen F Austin to pursue a degree in early childhood education. Ruben Avila Jr. Ruben Avila Jr. is the son of Ruben and Sinia Avila. He has participated in several clubs and organizations including yearbook and National Honor Society. After graduating he plans to attend Stephen F Austin State University to receive his Bachelors in computer science.
