More charges filed in Pennington case

Aaron Wade Pennington, 30, of Grapeland was served with two additional warrants while in custody at the Houston County Jail. on Thursday, April 21. The Cyber Crimes Unit with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas has been working diligently to bring this case to an end, reported the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. However, new victims are being discovered. The warrants that were issued Thursday include his second charge for sexual assault of a child (under the age of 17) and his third for possession of child pornography. Pennington now faces seven felony charges. Bond for the charge filed Tuesday was set at $50,000. At press time, he remained incarcerated at the Houston County Jail.
