Burglary
Houston County Courier -  August 2009

On Monday, Aug. 10, Houston County deputies were dispatched to a burglary that occurred in the Weches community, approximately two miles off of CR 1200.
A large number of items had been removed from the residence.
During the early morning of Tuesday, Aug. 11, Houston County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Weatherford Police Department inquiring about checks that were being presented in their area that were believed to be stolen.
After investigation, it was discovered that the checks had indeed been taken from the residence that was burglarized on CR 1200.
Kimberly Baker, 30, of Riverside and Richard Fountaine, 20, of Riverside, were arrested by the Weatherford Police Department for burglary of a habitation and fraudulent use of identification.
The couple had several items in their possession, including jewelry, that were also taken from the residence on CR 1200.
As a result of their arrest, information was received that led to the discovery of the vehicle used in this burglary in Trinity County.
As information continued to develop out of the investigation, search warrants were executed in Trinity and Walker counties and more stolen items were recovered.
Two other arrests were made  in connection with this burglary, Richard Fountaine, Jr., 40, and Lawanna Fountaine, 45, both of Riverside.
They were booked into the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Jail on charges of felony theft of property with bond set at $7,500 each.
Through the investigation by Houston County deputies, two burglaries were cleared in Houston County and one in Walker County.
Evidence was also found that may lead to clearing other cases.
