Trustees to talk taxes Monday

Lovelady considering district golf program The Lovelady Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. in the LHS library. After approval of consent agenda items, the board will discuss and consider a district golf program, approve additions to the substitute list, approve the 2010-2011 appraisal calendar, listen to the superintendent’s report and consider the proposed tax rate. Professional personnel will be discussed in the executive session and upon reconvening in open session, approval of professional personnel will be announced. Immediately following the regular meeting, the board will review and discuss expected revenue and expenditures for the 2010-2011-school budget year during the budget workshop.
