School Choirs to Perform In Christmas Concert

Area school choirs from Crockett, Lovelady, Latexo, Kennard, Jordan School and the Grace Notes will once again put their voices together in their presentation of the annual Houston County School Christmas Concert.
The concert at Crockett Civic Center will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8.  Admission is free but attendees are asked to bring a canned good for the Houston County SHARE food drive. 
Don Colasanti will be emceeing the program as well as directing the Jordan School Choir.  Other music directors are Patty LeClaire of Latexo Independent School District, Cynthia House of Crockett ISD, Margaret Wright of Kennard ISD, Lisa Allen of Lovelady ISD and Deborah Colasanti will direct the Grace Notes.
Besides the customary seasonal songs, some of the choirs will perform special selections.  Of course, the traditional finale "Let There Be Peace on Earth" will be sung by the entire choral body.
The Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce and the Piney Woods Fine Arts Association sponsor the annual Christmas Concert.
