Arrests made in robbery

Crockett Police Department Corporal Investigator Sammy Wagner said two arrests have been made in connection with the Thursday
Nov. 27 aggravated robbery of the Circle P Food Store located in the 600 block of South Fourth Street.
Wagner said 18-year-old
Treaveon Handsborough, who had been arrested on Thursday, Nov. 27 and charged with evading arrest and resisting arrest was later charged with the armed robbery.
Wagner said police also charged Daetriuce Sims, 18 with aggravated robbery and he turned himself in and was jailed on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
According to reports, on the morning of Thursday Nov. 27 shortly before 2 a.m. two black male suspects entered the Circle P Food Store. One man was reportedly armed with a handgun and they robbed the clerk on duty.
The duo was said to have fled north on Fourth Street.
Wagner said he was assisted on the case and investigation by CPD Sergeant Lonnie Lum, Officer Alfredo Fajardo, Sergeant Joel Martin, Officer Anthony Griffin, and Officer Vince Baker.
