PWFAA Brings School Time Performance

Friday, Jan. 16, Piney Woods Fine Arts Association will bring the second school time performance of the year to Crockett Civic Center.  Recommended for grades 4 through 7, Blues Journey, is based on the children's book by Walter Dean Myers.
Students will witness the blues evolve into rock-and-roll and take a journey to learn and reminisce about the influences and impact the blues has had on musical culture and our own community
Registration is through the schools for the two performances, 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at $4 per student; one free chaperon per 15 paid tickets.  Call PWFAA at 544-4276, fax 546-0927 or go on line at www.pwfaa.org for more information.
