Crockett Junior High School students, parent volunteer Pam Morrison and a group of parent/grandparent helpers got together to create and fashion a flower bed project in front of their campus.
The volunteer flower bed project has foundational plants which include dwarf boxwood, giant lariope, creeping juniper, and red ruffle azaleas.
The annuals are blue, white, and azure pansies.
As spring approaches, expect to see white daffodils, blue irises and blue hyacinths. "It will be exciting to watch as these plants grow," said one of the student helpers.
"This project would not have been possible without the support of some great people," said Mrs. Morrison, "so a special Bulldog thanks goes to Boy Scout Troop 419, CJHS Parent/Teacher Organization, Crockett Garden Club, several businesses who contributed to this project and of course, the 25 student, parent and grandparent volunteers!"
The public is encouraged to drive by and look at CJH's beautiful campus.
