Doris Vick, East Texas Career Training Center, Inc. program instructor and representative will be at the Houston County WorkForce Solutions Center in Crockett, 1512A Loop 304 to answer questions regarding the training program on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 10:15 a.m. 
The Medical Provider Specialist (Combined Coding, Billing, and Collection) provides a training certificate program. This program is designed to teach students to perform duties and responsibilities relating to the coding, billing, and collection of revenue from health care payers.  The training program is completed in 42 class days (336 clock hours).
Successful completion of the Medical Provider Specialist (Combined: Coding, Billing and Collection) program will prepare students for entry-level employment in a medical practice, hospital, clinic, or related medical or health care organization.
Specialized instruction includes introduction to the financial cycle of medical and health care, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, procedural and diagnostic coding, state and federal industry regulations, and billing software.
