Livingston woman struck by Pickup Truck

LIVINGSTON - A 43-year-old woman died Saturday, night Dec. 26 after being struck by a pickup truck on Hwy. 146, 2.5 miles south of Livingston, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.
Donna M. Albarron, a resident of Rainbow Drive in Livingston, was pronounced dead at the scene by Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace David Johnson. Her body was taken to Cochran Funeral Home.
A 2009 Dodge pickup truck driven by 55-year-old David Earl Loving of Crockett was southbound when and Albarron, a pedestrian, failed to yield right of way and was struck by the pickup in the southbound lane, according to a report filed by Trooper G. Flowers.
Loving and a passenger in the pickup were listed as uninjured.
No charges have been filed in connection with the accident, which occurred at 8:02 p.m.
No local funeral service has been set for Albarron, according to the funeral home; her body is being transported to Yonkers, N.Y. for burial.
