Hospital rooms begin to fill

CROCKETT – In recent days there has been a notable increase in the number of patients admitted to ETMC Crockett.
According to an interview with ETMC Administrator Terry Cutler on Thursday, Dec. 31, there were 39 patients admitted to the hospital.
ETMC is about a 50-bed facility.
Officials reportedly contribute the increase in the number of admissions to the drastic changes in temperature that have occurred recently, which make it difficult for those with respiratory problems to breathe.
Cutler said, “We have not seen a significant number of patients admitted with flu-like symptoms.”
