Crime Stoppers pays out big reward

CROCKETT – Houston County Crime Stoppers paid out some sizeable awards during December according to information released on Thursday, Jan. 14.
The data released indicates that the organization paid out $1,200 during the month of December for tips that led to the arrest of persons charged with various crimes ranging from misdemeanors to felonies.
Crime Stoppers also reported receiving 32 tips from their website at www.545-tips.com during that time period.
In addition the group received 4 tips resulting from the anonymous tip line telephone 545-Tips (8477).
Individuals reporting information about crimes or the whereabouts of suspects wanted by law enforcement through Crime Stoppers always remain anonymous.
