HCSO seeks burglary information On Monday, Jan.2, 2012 at approximately 12:51 a.m., the Houston County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a burglary in progress at a residence in the Porter Springs area on FM 132. The residents awoke to voices and flashlights in their home. The burglars were alarmed by the residents and left the scene. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice was contacted and a horse and dog team responded to try and track the suspects but were not successful at the time.
