Crockett Housing Authority selects Bill Holcomb as executive director By Lynda Jones The Crockett Housing Authority Board of Directors hired Crockett City Councilman - Mayor Pro Tem Bill Holcomb as the new executive director Friday, Jan. 6. The board terminated the previous director, Odis Bryan, on Sept. 26. At that time, they appointed Vicky Salmon as the interim executive director. On Dec. 5, the board discussed terminating Salmon, and on Dec. 16 she resigned. Before becoming the interim executive director, Salmon was a CHA clerk. Also on Dec. 16, the board named Mandy Nash as the new Assistant Deputy Director/Financial Coordinator. Nash’s previous position was that of security guard. Holcomb was previously employed at the Texas Department of Transportation. |
