Grapeland City Council to meet in executive session

The Grapeland City Council will meet in executive session during its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday, July 12 to “discuss pending litigation with past personnel”. During the regular open session of the council meeting, agenda items include: *Kenneth Spangler-Condition of property at 426 Edens; *Discuss/approve 2011/2012 City of Grapeland operating budgets and GEDC budget; *Discuss/approve contracting with local wrecker service for Grapeland Police Department; *Discuss/approve write-offs for the Water and Sewer Department/Total amount - $1,658.61; *Consider/approve donation to Kalin’s Center; *Discuss/approve street improvement project funding (approximately $388,000).
