Kids helping other kids, Penny March

Thirteen children and four adults, members of Lovelady Assembly of God, paraded through Lovelady on Thursday, June 11 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for the “Penny March.”
The Penny March is a group of children who went door to door asking for a donation to help with the boys and girls at Pleasant Hills Children’s Home in Fairfield.
PHCH is a non-profit ministry organization and completely funded by donations.
The core values of PHCH is to give the children a strong work ethic, spiritual nurture, solid academic preparation, healthy physical development and self esteem.
Today, PHCH is a basic childcare facility licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.
Offering a family style atmosphere, PHCH provides a Christian, loving home for abused, abandoned, needy or neglected children up to 18 years of age.
