CVFD quickly puts out fire at local eatery Crockett firefighters responded to a 911 call from the Sonic on E. Loop 304 at 8:29 a.m. Tuesday. Chief John Angerstein said it appeared to be a grease fire contained to one of the cookers that caused some damage to the electrical outlet. The firefighters were back in service at 8:50 a.m., he said. Sonic partner/owner Nino Borbon declined to comment. |
