Lovelady Elections Scheduled
Houston County Courier -  March 2009      

The City of Lovelady will hold an election on Saturday, May 9 to include one write-in candidate and a proposition.
Candidates in the election include:
Position 3 - None
Position 4  - Norma Lane
Position 5 - Byron Shoemaker  (incumbent)
Position 3 -  Write in candidate – David Sulewski
The proposition will appear on the ballot as: Proposition 1 – For re-authorization of the local sales and use tax in Lovelady at the rate of .25 of one percent to  continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets.
