GRAPELAND – According to the Houston County She-riff’s Office the results of the autopsy ordered in the Tues-day, Jan. 12 death of 51-year-old Dawn Douglas indicate that she died from Hypother-mia. “There was no evidence of foul play at the scene and the medical examiner has ruled the cause of death as Hypothermia” said HCSO Investigator Randy Hargrove. Ms. Douglas was found de-ceased in the middle of a road in Salmon Lake Park about 8:37 a.m. that morning. The HCSO, Grapeland Po-lice Department, and Texas Ranger Jim Huggins respond-ed to the call. At the time of the incident there was some misinforma-tion circulating that suggested foul play was involved in the death of Ms. Douglas. The autopsy results indicate other-wise. |
