Peyton Turn,, 10 of Crockett, participated in the grand march in San Antonio to celebrate the 174th anniversary of the Alamo on Satur-day, March 6. He dressed up like Enrico, the child of the Alamo and walked with the women of the Alamo. He got a chance to meet the great great great grandson of the late David Crockett, and his name was David Crockett. He showed Turn his Identification. Turn is a member of the San Antonio Living History Association. Turn attends Latexo Elementary and is thrilled about taking Texas History in his class this year. He is the son of Craig and Cheryl Turn and the grandson on Don and Judy Gentry and J.B. and Gini Turn.
