Candidates announced for Lovelady ISD, GISD

The Latexo ISD will not have a Board of Trustees election on May 14 due to uncontested races, but Lovelady ISD, Grapeland ISD and the Grapeland Hospital District will have elections on that date. In Latexo, Position 1 incumbent Sharla Killian and Position 2 incumbent Mike Furrh are unopposed. In Lovelady, Position 6 incumbent David Stacks is being challenged by Mark Solomon. Position 7 incumbent Chris Starns is unopposed. Delbert Walker is challenging incumbent Mitchell Huff for the Position 1 seat of the Grapeland ISD Board of Trustees. Incumbent Paul Oliver is unopposed for Position 2. Position 7 incumbent David Bridges will face Will Gayle in the Grapeland Hospital District Board of Directors election. Incumbent Toni Childress is unopposed for Position 5. |
