The Houston County Commissioners Court will meet in regular session Tuesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. Agenda items include: *Consider approving salaries for a victim’s coordinator/grand jury clerk in the district attorney’s office; * Consider disposal of sal vage furniture and/or equipment from county offices; *Consider approving upgrade and annual maintenance contract of EDOC computer software for JP Pct. 1 and Pct. 2; Hear address from Sheriff Darrel Bobbitt concerning estrays and expenses related to disposal; *Consider approval for application for no-match grant to purchase three vehicles for HCSO; *Consider accepting bids for sale of surplus vehicles for Road and Bridge Pct. 4; *Consider appointment of Houston County representative to the Deep East Texas Rural Planning Organization. *Hear presentation from Discover East Texas Magazine concerning regional tourism.
