Voter Registration Cards Provide Individual's Unique Information

Voters should look at this year's orange voter registration card when voting in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4., 7 a.m.-7 p.m. A voter registration card uses the following jurisdictional codes:
- A 10-digit voter registration number or VUID-voter's unique ID.
- Gender (Sex)
- Beginning date of validation
- Year of birth
- Precinct number-the place where one votes
- Ending date of validation
- US Representative-House District number
- State Senator-Senate District
- Texas State Representative District
- County Commissioner Precinct number
- Justice of the Peace Precinct number
- School District in which you reside
- Hospital District-Taxation district for hospital funding
- Emergency Service District, EDS, in which you reside
- School Board of Education District
