Voter Registration Cards Provide Individual's Unique Information

Voters should look at this year's orange voter registration card when voting in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4., 7 a.m.-7 p.m. A voter registration card uses the following jurisdictional codes:

A 10-digit voter registration number or VUID-voter's unique ID.
Gender (Sex)
Beginning date of validation
Year of birth
Precinct number-the place where one votes
Ending date of validation
US Representative-House District number
State Senator-Senate District
Texas State Representative District
County Commissioner Precinct number
Justice of the Peace Precinct number
School District in which you reside
Hospital District-Taxation district for hospital funding
Emergency Service District, EDS, in which you reside
School Board of Education District
