Cash Reward offered for information in aggravated robbery of Dairy Queen
Crockett Police Department officers are searching for two suspects in the Tuesday, Oct. 28 armed robbery of Dairy Queen in the 800 block of South Fourth Street.
According to reports, CPD officers were dispatched to the scene at 8:52 p.m. and learned that two black males had fled on foot in the direction of Davy Crockett Memorial Park.
Witnesses reportedly told authorities one of the suspects was carrying a sawed-off-shotgun.
The suspects were reportedly wearing bandanas over the lower part of the faces and one was wearing sunglasses during the incident.
Witnesses told police that the suspects entered through the rear door of the store, which had been unlocked to take the trash out. Once inside the suspects reportedly forced an employee, at gunpoint, to open the cash register. The suspect then ordered the employees to lay on the floor.
The suspects absconded with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Houston County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for the thefts.
