Grapeland Volunteer Fire Department and Grapeland EMS grabbed their cowboy boots, cowboy hat and stethoscopes to attend the 23rd annual EMS Conference in Fort Worth on Sunday – Wednesday, Nov. 23  - 26.
The volunteers participated in a variety of classes, featuring topnotch speakers and education.
Attendees also attended workshops, exhibits that will keep them on the edge of emergency medicine.
The conference was held at Fort Worth Convention Center.
Those attending participated in two-hour hands on classes in addition to plenty of one-hour lecture classes with top names in EMS education.
Grapeland VFD enjoyed classes such as Airway, Clinical Related Operation, Medical, Pediatric, Patient Assessment, Preparatory, Special Considerations and Trauma.
