Crockett board schedules special executive session

On Wednesday, Nov. 17 the board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. in the Crockett I.S.D. Administration Building, 1400 W. Austin St. The board will go into executive session to hear the presentation of a Level III Appeal of Employee Grievance by Mark Giles. According to the posted agenda, after the board returns to open session, there will be consideration and board action, if any, on Giles’ presentation. Earlier this week, during a very brief (less than five minutes) special meeting on Monday, Nov. 15, the Crockett I.S.D. Board of Trustees voted to retain the services of Karl Tiger Hanner, attorney at law. The board agreed to retain Hanner “to provide legal services to the administration, limited to services involved in one pending employee complaint against the Superintendent of Schools.” |
