Early voting in the upcoming November General Election will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and conclude on Friday, Oct. 31. 
This year early voting will be held at the Houston County Courthouse in the basement. 
In addition there will be three temporary branch polling places located in the county.
The first branch polling place will open on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Grapeland.
Voting will continue at Kennard High School on Thursday, Oct. 23. 
On the final day, Friday, Oct. 24 voting will be held at the W T Bruton Community Center in Lovelady.
All branch polling places will be open from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Weekend voting will be held at the courthouse on Saturday, Oct. 25, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 26, 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
