Early voting numbers low

The number of citizens taking advantage of early voting in the upcoming Tuesday, Nov. 3 election is low compared to some previous elections held in Houston County.
Early voting began on Monday, Oct. 19 and as of Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 4:30 p.m. a total of 187 voters had cast ballots.
The election will decide several state issues namely 11 proposed Constitutional Amendments.
Early voting will continue through Friday, Oct. 30 at the Houston County Courthouse 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
