ETMC-Crockett to host ‘Fall in Love with Health’

The community is invited to join ETMC-Crockett for the “Fall in Love with Health” Fair on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 2-5 p.m. for health information, screenings and the opportunity to trick-or-treat for candy from exhibitors. The event is being held in conjunction with the 28th annual Halloween on the Square, scheduled from 5-7 p.m., and will feature about 35 exhibitors. Exhibitors will be located in the professional building lobby, main lobby, administration lobby and adjoining hallways. In addition to the many exhibitors, ETMC-Crockett will host costume contests for both children and adults. The costume contests will be judged in the cafeteria at 4 p.m. and first through fourth place prizes will be awarded. A pumpkin decorating/ carving contest will also be held in the cafeteria. The deadline for entries is 4 p.m. and first through fourth place winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m. This event includes drawings for door prizes, scheduled to be held in the cafeteria every 30 minutes. In addition, a drawing will be held for a 42” Vizio color television at about 4:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Entry forms will be available at the entrance to the health fair located at the professional building. Admission to the health fair is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Emergency personnel and law enforcement attending include the ETMC Air 1 helicopter (weather and patient care needs permitting), ETMC EMS, Houston County Office of Emergency Management, Crockett Police Department, Crockett Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
