Decorating contest announced

The Crockett Downtown Beautification Corporation (CDBC) invites all downtown businesses to participate in its annual Christmas decorating contest. There will be no registration required. All decorated businesses will be judged. The Houston County Career Women’s parade theme this year is “The True Meaning of Christmas”. The judging of decorated businesses by the CDBC will be Wednesday, Nov. 17, with the first, second and third place winners being announced Thursday, Nov. 18. before the Christmas parade starts.
