Burglaries Cleared and Arrest Made
Houston County Courier -  August 2009

Houston County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two Liberty County men early Friday morning, Sept. 18 and charged them with theft and
burglary.
According to reports, Jacob Cory Williamson, 29, and Jason Ralph Creel, 31, were arrested and transported to the Houston County Sher-

iff’s Office Jail.
Williamson was charged with theft, a state jail felony and Creel was charged with three counts of burglary.
It was at approximately 8:45 a.m., that HCSO received a call reporting a burglary of a residence on CR 4505, in the Arbor Community.
Houston County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location and spoke with the owner who reported several items missing from the home.
HCSO Deputy Michael McCreight observed vehicle tracks at the scene and was able to follow the tracks to another residence located on FM 232.
Deputy McCreight spoke with men at that residence.
Deputy McCreight obtained consent to search the property, which led to the discovery of items that had been reported missing from the initial burglary call.
Other burglaries were reported later in the day and the property reported missing from those burglaries had been seen at the same location of the other recovered stolen items.
Houston County deputies returned to that location and recovered that property as well.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Game Wardens were called in on the case after deer remains were discovered on the property and other game violations were detected.
A stolen 4-wheeler from Liberty County was also recovered, along with a shotgun that had been stolen from Fort Bend County.
As of press time Friday, both men were still incarcerated and awaiting arraignment.
